Privacy statement

Last updated: August 2026

Iniscale respects your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process when you contact us through this website, why we do so and what rights you have.

1. Data controller

Iniscale (trading as Iniscale Websites) is the data controller. Email: sales@iniscale.com. Website: iniscale.com. Registered address: Platanenlaan 94, Heerhugowaard, Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce number: 89040988. VAT number: NL004685220B60.

2. What data we process

This website has no contact form: contact runs through an email link. When you email us, we receive and store:

  • your name and email address (as included in your message)
  • the content of your message and any details you add yourself, such as your company name, phone number or website URL
  • technical log files from the hosting provider (such as IP address and timestamp) needed to serve the website securely

3. Why and on what legal basis

We use your data solely to answer your question, prepare an intro call or quote and deliver the project. Legal bases: performance of a contract or steps prior to it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Retention

Correspondence without follow-up is kept for a maximum of 12 months. Data belonging to a project is kept for the duration of the engagement and afterwards in line with statutory bookkeeping obligations (7 years for invoicing data). Server logs are kept briefly by the hosting provider.

5. Sharing with others

We never sell your data. We only use service providers needed to do our work, such as our email provider and the host of this website. They process data solely on our instructions. Any transfer outside the EEA only takes place with appropriate safeguards. On request we provide an up-to-date list of our sub-processors (email and hosting provider).

6. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies and uses no external statistics tools. Only your language choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so the site stays in your language. That is strictly functional and therefore requires no consent. If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent up front through a cookie banner.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • access to the data we hold about you
  • rectification or erasure of your data
  • restriction of, or objection to, processing
  • portability of your data
  • withdrawal of consent, where processing is based on it

8. Security and complaints

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and need-to-know access. Want to exercise a right or ask a question? Email sales@iniscale.com; we respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or the supervisory authority in your country.
